P/O and A/R details

When reconciling your EOD report you will need to reference the P/O or Non-Fuel invoice PAYOUT details to account for the CASH used for the days store expenses. When this is not balanced, you will see the red X icon under the details column.

Click the P/O button on the toolbar at the top of the page to begin reconciling the payout details.

On this screen you can add a new P/O detail, remove one, or edit what’s already there.

To add a new P/O entry, specify the receipt type you would like to assign it to along with the vendor, then click the ADD button. Now you can edit the quantity, dollar amount and add notes. When finished, click save on the toolbar.
To remove an entry, click the red circle on the left side, then click save on the toolbar.

  1. Store and date.
  2. Receipt type to add P/O details for.
  3. Vendor that payment was made to.
  4. List of current P/O details for the day.

You may also need to tie non fuel invoices to the payout section if you paid for merchandise that will be sold in your store using cash from the register. In the invoice header you are given the option to select payout as the method of payment (Paid By field on the invoice). Make sure that the invoice date is the same as the recon date or it will tie the payout details to the wrong date.

Use A/R to reconcile sales that were made using customer or house accounts during the sales date.

On this screen you can add a new A/R detail, remove one, or edit what’s already there.

  1. Store and date.
  2. Receipt type to add A/R details for.
  3. Select the customer account and click Add.
  4. List of current A/R details for the day.

Enter the dollar amount for the account on that day, then click save at the top of the page. When you return to Daily Books, you will see the details that have just been entered.
